Campervan Conversion Cost on the Gold Coast (2026)

People asking how much a campervan conversion costs in Australia in 2026 will get a straight figure here. The published conversion cost on the Gold Coast is $44,999, $47,999 or $49,999 excluding the van. How long a campervan fitout takes depends on the job; a typical HiAce build is about five weeks once the van is in the bay.

The only set prices we publish

These three layouts are the only dollar figures on the site. All exclude the van. You buy or already own the shell; we build the living fitout.

Each is a full HiAce 200 Series fitout with a pop-top, kitchen, bed, solar, lithium and water. The spec list is on the product page. Layout photos sit in the showroom. The three products are also in the campervan collection.

Workshop build or DIY

A DIY fitout is usually cheaper on labour because you are the labour. It is also slower, and you arrange your own parts and compliance. We do not publish a DIY budget from this workshop, and we do not guess what a home build costs.

A professional workshop build is quoted and timed. For the three listed HiAce layouts the quote is the price on the page, and the typical time is about five weeks. That is a typical time, not a promise on every van or every extra.

Custom work is quoted, not listed

Sprinter, Crafter, Delica and custom HiAce layouts that are not one of the three listed designs do not have a set price here. Those jobs are quoted to the van and the work. See custom fitouts or contact the workshop.

What the price covers

The listed figures are the fitout we build in Oxenford. They do not include buying a van. Every build has a 1-year manufacturer warranty on our workmanship and the parts we supply and install. It does not cover damage you cause, or unauthorised work. Australian Consumer Law still applies.
