Fibreglass Campervan Pop-Top Roofs
Roof-only installation · Oxenford, Gold Coast
More room above. Keep the van you love.
Looking for a fibreglass pop-top roof for your campervan? Gold Coast Campervans handles pop-top roof installation enquiries separately from complete campervan conversions. You do not need to book a full fit-out to talk to us about a roof.
Our workshop is in Oxenford on the Gold Coast. Tell us your vehicle and whether it is empty or already fitted out, and our team will confirm the suitable roof options, work required and quote.

Pop-top roof installation — not just full conversions
A pop-top is a roof that lifts when you are parked to provide additional headroom, then lowers for travel. It is also commonly called a poptop or an elevating campervan roof. The final raised and closed heights depend on the vehicle and roof system; we confirm those details for the proposed installation.
Roof only
Keep your project focused on the roof. Discuss a fibreglass pop-top installation without committing to a new kitchen, cabinetry or a complete interior.
Roof and fit-out
Planning the whole campervan? We can discuss the roof alongside your campervan layout or custom fit-out, so the work is considered together.
Is your van empty or already fitted out?
Empty van
Send the make, model, year and wheelbase, plus photos of the exterior roof and interior ceiling. This helps our team assess the starting point and explain the proposed installation.
Existing campervan
Send photos before booking. Ceiling linings, cupboards, wiring, solar panels and other roof equipment may affect the work. Extra removal, relocation or finishing work may apply and needs to be assessed.
You do not need to know the technical details to enquire. Start with the van you have and what you would like to improve; we will tell you what information is needed next.
Toyota HiAce pop-top roof conversions
A Toyota HiAce campervan pop-top enquiry needs more detail than the model name alone. Tell us whether yours is a 200 Series or 300 Series, the model year, wheelbase and current roof type. Include any previous roof or interior modifications.
Roof suitability must be confirmed for the exact vehicle. A layout fitting one HiAce does not automatically mean a particular roof system fits every generation or wheelbase. For another van make, send the same details and our team will advise whether we can help.

The complete fit-outs pictured are not a roof-only package. Tell us when you only need a pop-top.
What affects the cost of a fibreglass pop-top?
We quote roof-only work separately from a full campervan conversion. Your vehicle, roof system, existing interior and any equipment that needs to be moved affect the scope and price.
Ask for a written quote confirming the total price, what is included and any additional work before booking. Photos help us identify questions early; an inspection may be needed before the work can be confirmed. We do not treat every empty van or existing fit-out as the same job.
How to arrange a pop-top installation
1. Tell us the vehicle. Send the make, model, year, wheelbase and whether it is already fitted out.
2. Show us the roof and interior. Include photos and mention existing solar, roof racks, vents or other equipment. Avoid sending payment details or identification documents.
3. Confirm the scope. Our team discusses suitability, the proposed work, the quote and any certification pathway that may apply.
4. Agree the booking. Workshop availability and timing are confirmed by our team. An enquiry is not a confirmed booking.

Fibreglass pop-top roof FAQs
Can I book a pop-top without a complete campervan conversion?
Yes. Roof-only installation enquiries are welcome. Our team will confirm whether the roof and work are suitable for your vehicle.
Can a pop-top be fitted to an existing campervan?
It needs assessment first. Send photos of the roof, ceiling and existing fit-out. Extra work may apply, and suitability and price must be confirmed before booking.
Will a pop-top fit my HiAce 200 or 300 Series?
Tell us the exact series, year, wheelbase and roof type. We will assess the vehicle and available roof option rather than promise a universal fit.
Can I keep my solar panels or carry roof equipment?
Tell us what is already fitted or planned. Compatibility, mounting, operating clearances and permitted loads need confirmation for the particular roof system. Do not assume existing equipment can simply be transferred.
What about engineering in Queensland?
We can offer an engineering certificate pathway where required. Our team will confirm what applies to the vehicle and work. Certification or approval is not guaranteed. Read our Queensland campervan compliance information.
What warranty applies?
There is a one-year manufacturer's warranty on our build and the parts we supply and install, subject to the warranty terms. Parts may also have their own brand warranties. Our team will confirm what applies. This does not limit your rights under Australian Consumer Law. See our warranty information.
